Norcold, Inc. Product Recalls – Call 1-800-767-9101

The Norcold, Inc. refrigerators listed below have been recalled. These refrigerators have a defect that can result in a fire causing injury or death.

If you suspect you own one of these recalled refrigerators:

Immediately, turn the refrigerator off at its inside controls AND unplug it from its 110 volt source through the service vent door.

 

Call 1-800-767-9101 for assistance to verify if your refrigerator is on recall and/or report and get information as to where you can take the vehicle to get your Norcold refrigerator professionally repaired.

These refrigerators will be repaired at no cost to you.

Norcold, Inc. cannot accept responsibility if you do not immediately arrange to take your refrigerator into a Dealer/Service Center for repair.  Moreover, you could be personally liable to third parties for property damage or bodily injuries resulting from your failure to have your refrigerator immediately repaired.

Models 1200LR, 1200LRIM and 1201LRIM

1200LR, 1200LRIM and 1201LRIM, 4 door refrigerators with cooling unit serial numbers ranging from 700000 to 1536607.

These refrigerators were installed as original equipment in vehicle model years 1997 to 2003. Other recalled refrigerators may have been purchased as replacement during the same period.

N600 and N800 Series Models 1082 Free-Standing LP Model

N841, N821, N641, N621 and 1082 gas/electric 2 door refrigerators, having cooling units with serial numbers from 1038000 to 1099000.

These refrigerators were mostly installed in, but limited to vehicle models 1999 to 2000.

Owners who have had the heater element replaced in one of these cooling units should call: 800-767-9101 to get their refrigerator upgraded to current product configuration.

  • Certain (2009-2010) TrailManor travel trailers equipped with Carrier AIRV ceiling units, model Nos. 68RV0010BA, 68RV0012CA, and 68RV0010EA. The heater element in these assemblies may be defective which could cause the unit to create smoke or sparks.
  • Certain (2010) Keystone RV Co. Fuzion travel trailers and fifth-wheels with the Touring Edition II package. The rear ramp door cable support bracket bolts may fail when the door is used in the patio position.
  • Certain (2010) Jayco Inc. Insignia motorhomes built on Freightliner chassis with Kongsberg Power Products Systems adjustable brake pedals. The drive pin which secures the brake pedal arm to the balance of the assembly may become disengaged, this may cause a reduction in vehicle braking and/or cause the brake pedal to move out of position and interfere with throttle pedal function.
  • Certain (2010) Entegra Aspire motorhomes built on Freightliner chassis with Kongsberg Power Products Systems adjustable brake pedals. The drive pin which secures the brake pedal arm to the balance of the assembly may become disengaged, this may cause a reduction in vehicle braking and/or cause the brake pedal to move out of position and interfere with throttle pedal function.
  • Certain (2008-2010) Keystone RV Co. Cougar and Laredo travel trailers and fifth-wheel vehicles. These vehicles have experienced a limited number of failures with its spare tire carrier
  • Certain (2009 and 2010) Fleetwood RV Fiesta and Terra 34B Class A motorhomes for failing to comply with the requirements of Part 567, “Certification.” The certification tag and the cargo carrying capacity tag figures related to the fresh water tank’s capacity are incorrect.
  • Certain (2008) Coachmen motorhomes built on Freightliner XC motorhome chassis manufactured between March 6, 2007 and Dec. 11, 2009, with Kongsberg Power Products Systems adjustable brake pedals. The drive pin which secures the brake pedal arm to the balance of the assembly may become disengaged.
  • Certain (2008-2009) Navistar Beaver Contessa, (2009) Beaver Marquis, Patriot, Monterey, (2009-2010) Holiday Rambler Ambassador, (2010-2011) Holiday Rambler Endeavor, (2009-2010) Holiday Rambler Imperial, (2010) Holiday Rambler Navigator, and Sceptor, (2010) Monaco Camelot, (2010-2011) Monaco Diplomat, (2010) Monaco Dynasty, (2009-2010) Monaco Knight and (2010) Monaco Signature manufactured from Jan. 22, 2008, through Oct. 27, 2009, on behalf of Monaco RV with Kongsberg power products systems adjustable brake pedals. The drive pin which secures the brake pedal arm to the balance of the assembly may become disengaged.
  • Certain (2010) Starcraft Lexion and Emblem fifth-wheel travel trailers. In the presence of moisture, a remote activation module for the leveling jack may activate autonomously without the use of the remote control.
  • Certain 2008-2009) Winnebago Industries Inc. Vectra and Itasc Horizon motorhomes manufactured between Nov. 2006, and May 2009, equipped with Kongsberg Automotive adjustable brake pedals. The adjustable brake pedal arm may loosen allowing the arm to rotate around its shaft and swing in front of the accelerator pedal, reducing braking function.
  • Certain (2009-2010) Jayco Inc. Eagle and (2010) Designer fifth-wheel travel trailers. In the presence of moisture, a remote activation module for the leveling jack may activate autonomously without the use of the remote control.
  • Certain (2010) Entegra Emblem fifth-wheel travel trailers. In the presence of moisture, a remote activation module for the leveling jack may activate autonomously without the use of the remote control.
  • Certain (2008-2009) Four Winds International Inc. Presidio, (2007-2010) Mandalay and (2010) Montecito motorhomes built between Oct. 5, 2004, and Nov. 25, 2009, on Freightliner chassis manufactured between May 2007 and November 2009 with Kongsberg power products systems adjustable brake pedals. The drive pin which secures the brake pedal arm to the balance of the assembly may become disengaged.
  • Certain (2005-2008) Newell Coach Corp. motorhomes equipped with Caterpillar C15 engine. The variable valve actuation oil line may rub against the p-clips retaining the oil line, causing an oil leak.
  • Certain (2008-2010) Spartan MM, K2, and K3 motorhome chassis manufactured from April 27, 2007, to Aug. 11, 2009, equipped with pneumatic and hydraulic adjustable brake pedal assemblies p/nos. 6562618, 6565118, 77025-001, 77025-002, 77025-501, 77050-004, supplied by Kongsberg Automotive. Some assemblies could contain a drive pin that is below specification and may become disengaged from the brake arm causing separation or loosening of the pedal from the remainder of the assembly.
  • Certain (2010) Fleetwood RV Jamboree Sport and Tioga Ranger 25G Class C motorhomes manufactured between April 20 and Dec 7, 2009. The LPG supply line routed through the rear wheel well may come in contact with the chassis spring assembly causing damage to the LPG supply line.
  • Certain (2010) Keystone RV Co. Raptor fifth-wheel trailers. The rear stabilizing jacks may extend while driving due to exposed wiring on the extend/retract switch for the jacks. If the exposed wiring is subject to road spray, it may activate the remote control panel and extend the jacks.
  • Certain (2008-2009) Tiffin Motor Homes Inc. motorhome powerglide chassis equipped with pneumatic and hydraulic adjustable brake pedal assemblies p/nos. 6562618, 6565118, 77025-001, 77025-002, 77025-501, 77050-004, supplied by Kongsberg Automotive. Some assemblies could contain a drive pin that is below specification and may become disengaged from the brake arm causing separation or loosening of the pedal from the remainder of the assembly.
  • Certain (2008-2010) ForetravelPhenix and Nimbus motorhome chassis equipped with pneumatic and hydraulic adjustable brake pedal assemblies p/nos. 6562618, 6565118, 77025-001, 77025-002, 77025-501, 77050-004, supplied by Kongsberg automotive. Some assemblies could contain a drive pin that is below specification and may become disengaged from the brake arm causing separation or loosening of the pedal from the remainder of the assembly.
  • Certain (2010) Winnebago Industries Inc. View and Itasca Navion motorhomes for failing to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 207, “Seating Systems,” and Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 210, “Seat Belt Assembly.” The seats are missing a reinforcing plate. This does not meet the requirements of the standard.
  • Certain (2009-2010) Dutchmen Manufacturing Co. trailers because the federal identification tag tire and loading information label does not contain the correct size.
  • Certain Winnebago Industries Inc. (2007-2008) Access, Aspect, Sightseer and Vista motorhomes, (2007-2008) Itasca Impulse, Cambria, Sunova and Sunstar motorhomes (2009-2010) Access, Sightseer and Vista motorhomes and (2009-2010) Itasca Impulse, Sunova and Sunstar motorhomes. The RVs may have a missing stove partition that isolates the furnace air.
